Measuring your ring size

How do you measure your ring size?

Use one of the three options below to determine your ring size and receive a few extra tips.

1. Measure existing ring.

An easy way to find out your ring size is to measure a ring from your current collection. You can do this, for example, by measuring the diameter with a ruler. The number of millimetres is equal to your ring size. Note: do this with a ring similar to the one on your wish list.

2. Use a tape measure

Don't have a ring yet, but do you want to know your ring size? Then wrap a measuring tape around your finger, count the number of millimetres on the measuring tape and compare it with our size chart below. This method of measuring ring sizes is slightly less accurate than other options, but it can give you a direction to try out a number of sizes, for example.

3. Determine the circumference of your finger

You also measure your ring size by determining the circumference of your finger. It is best to use a piece of string for this, since it is thinner than a tape measure. Then measure the number of millimeters of the string with a measuring tape and determine the ring size based on our size chart below. Note: keep in mind that the ring must still fit over your knuckle when you tighten the string.
